why would i want to give money to the chinese government? they commit terrible atrocities against the tibetan people. Until tibet is free, i'm not spending tourist dollars to feed the chinese totalitarian machine.

Beside Tibet there are many places in Nepal and Bhutan where the Chinese are not involve. Even in Tibet the trip operator is us but we have to buy a permit and visa from Chinese Government. You can do many adventure in Nepal too.
