Hiking in the Southern Appalachian Mountains

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself as the website owner of http://www.HikingintheSmokys.com.

If you're planning a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains and are looking for detailed information on hiking trails in the Smokies, I think you'll find my website to be very useful. I provide trail descriptions, key features, pictures, maps, elevation profiles, etc,. for more than 70 trails in the Smokies - including the Appalachian Trail.

I've also recently introduced two new pages for the Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park that provide overview information for most of the trails in both of those parks (including recommendations on the best hikes). Here are the links to those two pages:

http://www.hikinginthesmokys.com/blue_ridge_parkway.htm

http://www.hikinginthesmokys.com/she...ional_park.htm

You'll find a wealth of information on my site, including a daily blog.

Please let me know if I can help you with any particular questions on the Smokies.
